About Cellulite Treatments

Cellulite is a common skin condition characterized by a dimpled texture, often in areas like the thighs, buttocks, and hips. It is more prevalent among women—it has been found to affect 80% to 90% of women at any point in their lives. (1) Men can also experience cellulite. While the condition is painless, it often creates aesthetic concerns that can diminish one’s self-confidence. (1)

What Causes Cellulite?

Cellulite can be seen in patients of all body types. It occurs when the fibrous tissues underneath the skin (septae) tighten and cause the surrounding fat to bulge. This causes its signature dimpled appearance. (1)

Our team of specialists uses various technologies and techniques to target cellulite, including:

Cellulaze®

Cellulaze is a minimally invasive cellulite treatment that uses laser energy to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Cellulaze’s laser technology releases the fibrous septae and activates neocollagenesis, which can improve your skin’s overall appearance, firmness, and texture.

Your specialist will place multiple small incisions around the targeted treatment areas before inserting a thin laser fiber. The laser fiber will emit the energy in several directions at once. It will coagulate fat with a downward-facing beam, release fibrous septae with a sideways-facing beam, and stimulate collagen production with an upward-facing beam. (3)

This treatment has minimal recovery time and targets cellulite at its root, delivering long-lasting smoothness.

Avéli®

Avéli is a minimally invasive treatment that uses a mechanical device to minimize the appearance of cellulite. The Avéli device has a small hook and blade that precisely separate and release the fibrous bands beneath your skin, smoothing out its surface. Your specialist will make small incisions in the skin to insert the Avéli device, using it to locate the problematic septae. (4)

This treatment offers significant results after just one appointment, with most patients experiencing long-lasting results.

BodyTite™

BodyTite is an advanced treatment that combines the benefits and techniques of liposuction and radiofrequency (RF) energy to address cellulite-related concerns both above and below the skin. This treatment uses a probe that can target and liquefy fat while also stimulating the production of new collagen, tightening the local collagen fibers, and contracting the skin’s surface.

Your specialist will insert the probe through a small incision near the treatment area, and a matching external electrode will be placed on the skin’s surface above. Your specialist will pass the BodyTite device over the skin and repeat the process until the entire treatment area has been addressed.

Fat Grafting

Fat grafting is a procedure that uses liposuction techniques to take fat from one area of your body and transfer it to another. Autologous fat, or fat from your own body, is fully biocompatible and offers natural volume restoration. Your specialist can use fat grafting to physically fill in skin dimples and depressions in the areas affected by cellulite. (2)

We use techniques that ensure the healthiest, most viable cells are used. Our microdroplet approach enhances fat retention for the best possible results.

This technique is often combined with subcision.

Subcision

Subcision is a treatment that manually severs the fibrous septal bands using a forked cannula, a non-coring needle, or a manual device. This procedure addresses the root cause of cellulite by releasing the fibrous bands themselves. (1)

Combination Cellulite Treatments

We can combine approaches like liposuction, fat grafting, and other surgical techniques to improve your skin’s texture and appearance. This technique offers a more comprehensive approach to addressing cellulite.

Corresponding Treatments

Quantum RF®

Quantum RF is a minimally invasive skin treatment that delivers powerful, precise RF energy deep into soft tissues, working across different layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production and contract tissues. Your specialist can perform this treatment to complement the results of your cellulite treatment and provide greater improvements in your skin’s overall appearance, firmness, and elasticity.

Morpheus Body™

Morpheus Body is a minimally invasive treatment that combines the technology and benefits of microneedling and RF energy. This treatment uses advanced skin remodeling technology to address both superficial and deep concerns, allowing you to further rejuvenate and tighten areas of the body that are affected by cellulite.
