Juvèderm Vollure™
Consultations offered at our two convenient locations in Carnegie Hill and Flatiron, NY

Juvéderm Vollure™ is a long-lasting dermal filler designed to achieve results for up to eighteen months. This filler is most effective when correcting nasolabial folds, smile lines, or laugh lines. Juvéderm Vollure™ is a longer-acting hyaluronic product compared to the others in the Juvéderm® family. Vollure™ can provide long-lasting correction to more severe facial wrinkles and deeper folds. Vollure™ may also be used during a “liquid facelift” to sculpt and reshape facial contours.
Procedure
Juvéderm Vollure™ is a hyaluronic based dermal filler. Hyaluronic acid fillers can plump up wrinkles, fine lines, and facial folds. They can also define lips, contour the chin and nose, or fill in sunken cheeks or temples for a full, youthful, lifted appearance. Dermal fillers re-volumize the cheeks, temples, tear troughs, under-eye hollows, jawline, and lips.
Juvéderm Vollure™ is an ideal filler for those who want long-term correction for more severe facial wrinkles, including deep nasolabial folds and marionette lines. If a patient had been using Juvéderm® Ultra Plus for this correction, depending on their metabolism, it would last approximately six to nine months. Now, with Juvéderm Vollure™, this filler can last up to eighteen months. That’s over one year longer than most other fillers.
Benefits
- Reduces the Appearance of Nasolabial Folds
- Lasts up to 18 Months
- Versatile Treatment Areas

Safety
Juvéderm Vollure™ is FDA-approved and safe for use. Patients should not opt for Vollure™ treatment if they’re allergic or have a sensitivity to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine. You should not receive Vollure™ if you have multiple allergies or severe allergies manifested by a history of anaphylaxis. Vollure™ should not be administered directly after laser treatments, deep chemical peels, or dermabrasion. Patients who have recently used blood thinners or have a bleeding disorder should not receive dermal fillers. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, you should speak with your doctor before opting for dermal fillers. If you’ve ever had an allergic reaction to any type of dermal filler, you should share this with your doctor.
Before you decide to receive Juvéderm Vollure™ treatments, it is important to choose a doctor who is highly experienced in administering cosmetic injectables. The placement of your Juvéderm Vollure™ injections is extremely important. If not placed strategically, Juvéderm Vollure™ could make the face appear distorted. Our doctors specialize in Juvéderm Vollure™ injections and can advise you as to whether or not Vollure™ treatment can best accomplish your goals.
Results
Juvéderm Vollure™ takes as little as 15-40 minutes to complete. The results of Juvéderm Vollure™ are long-lasting and can be seen immediately following the first treatment. Within two weeks of receiving your Juvéderm Vollure™ injections, the product will settle into the skin and the full results can last up to 18 months.
Recovery
Juvéderm Vollure™ is a non-invasive treatment that requires no downtime. The procedure is short and virtually painless. Most people resume their daily activities after the treatment. Juvéderm Vollure™ is injected using a very fine needle, minimizing any damage to the skin. Juvéderm® injectable fillers are safe, FDA-approved, biocompatible, and non-animal based, which means patients do not need to have a skin test done before treatment.
Following the Juvéderm Vollure™ treatment, patients may experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising surrounding the injection sites. However, these symptoms are normal and should subside in the days after treatment. Although rare, if your symptoms persist for more than a week or worsen over time, you should call your doctor immediately. Most patients experience little-to-no side effects and require no downtime after treatment.
